Hochschild joins Turn Key Wine Brands after several years working a variety roles in the wine industry, most recently at Turrentine Wine Brokerage as Bulk Wine Sales Coordinator.

A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he earned degrees in Agribusiness and Viticulture, Hochschild spent the early part of his career gaining experience in various aspects of the industry. Starting out with direct to consumer sales at Opolo Vineyards in Paso Robles, Hochschild went on to work as a cellar hand, marketing coordinator and wine club manager “to learn the business and find my niche,” explains Hochschild.  “The wines of the Central Coast, especially those of the Paso Robles appellation in particular, kickstarted my interest in wine and greatly influenced my decision to pursue a career in the wine industry.”

Hochschild soon became interested in international wines, leading to a move to Chile to pursue work in the bulk wine and exportation business, which he says was “invaluable” for leading him to where he is today. After facilitating bulk wine and case goods sales both domestically and internationally, Hochschild joins the Turn Key Wine Brands team as Northern California Sales Manager, eager to work alongside “experienced vineyard managers and winemakers, as well as designers and marketers, on such an extensive portfolio of wines.”  Adds Hochschild, “I’m excited to be part of such a quality team that creates profitable control labels for our clients.”
