Nicholas a member of the fifth generation to be involved in Californian agriculture and grew up working with the family business. Upon graduating from Bowdoin College, he took a position with a marketing consulting firm in Boston
before finally returning to California to work full-time for the family business in 2004.
Nicholas is VP of Sales and Marketing for his family’s companies. He represents the companies on several boards and associations including the California Association of Winegrape Growers and the Wine Institute.
In 2013 Nicholas was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 Taste Makers in America by Wine Enthusiast Magazine.
Nicholas and his wife, Shelly, make their home in Santa Barbara with their two sons Dual and Brody. His personal interests include wine, music, reading, traveling, whiskey, religion and beer.
Nicholas is a member of the California AG Leadership Class 36.
